I Really Want to Be Here- San Bernabe Uno- Week 12

Well, last week when I said that the things with D.J. would end soon I was talking about either us leaving him or him getting baptised. "Challenging to baptism" isn't really a phrase I've heard used, but he knows that he ought to be baptized and actually, after we took him to K's baptism on Saturday, he decided that he wants to be baptized.

Here is a picture of K, Elder Clayton, and I on the day of her baptism. It was cool, and it is pretty cool that D.J. wants to get baptized now. Not sure what changed. Just another one of those benefits of long suffering, I suppose. The only problem is that he is fairly firm in his decision that he wants me to baptize him. Which I would love to do. But I may not be here in 2-3 weeks when he gets his cast off his leg.  So, who knows? There is a good chance I'll still be here. I want to still be here,

This is Elder Rincon and I on Saturday. It was raining pretty hard, and we were wet all Saturday, including during the baptism, and we got D.J. all wet too, That might have been the funnest part. I also have a video that I took Thursday morning in which you can see the house, so that should make you happy!!!!

This is a hamburger that I ate today Those are sausages. It was amazingly delicious. We grilled it. We have had quite a few grilling experiences here in this area and now I know how to light charcoal and all that good stuff. We can eat carne asada when I get home.

I take melatonin sometimes. I usually don't have any problem sleeping.  Mmmm I was going to say something else.................................. Oh ya, I hadn't heard about that whole native language thing (General Conference speakers have the choice to give their talks in their native language), but it is good, because there are a ton of Latin saints now, and they should hear the talks better, so I sustain that church decision. The video finished loading so I think I'll send this email now!!! Never mind, bummer, the video is .248mb too big, so I suppose you'll have to wait  6 months to see it. I don't really have anything much more to comment on, Except that I'm pretty sure that whole Bishop Gorman picture is apostasy. What kind of mission president is going to give permission to a pair of missionaries to waste at least 3 hours on a Friday night at a high school football game. I suppose it could be alright, but I highly doubt it. And Elder Clayton just saw the picture and said it was fake, so who knows?

(This is a picture that I saw on Facebook that I sent to him in my email. The story attached was that Snoop Dog was at his son's football game at Bishop Gorman High School- which is true that he lives here and his son plays for that school- and these missionaries approached him. Who knows how much of that story is accurate!)

Honestly, I know not what more to say to you, because I'm basically just pretty stressed about where I'll be tomorrow. I really want to be here. My dream is to be here one more change, and then go and have 3 more changes in my last area. That would be cool, but I hope they don't change me today, and then in another 3 months again,. But....... I don't make those decisions, so we will just have to see what happens. I hope that you are all well, and I'm glad that you all pray for me. And I'm sorry I write fairly spazily, but that is the way I think, and hopefully reading it can give you more of a conversational feel, all unedited and uncut and all that good realistic stuff. Cool? Sobres pues. nos vemos. Envelopes then, we see each other. Sobres actually means a lot of things, but among the possible definitions is envelopes. But it is something they say to sort of finish a conversation. And nos vemos literally means that we are looking at each other, but it is used to mean see you later kind of thing. But that was pretty basic I bet you already knew that. Alright? I lobe you all and hope that you have a great week. Oh no! I am a Mexican- I started interchanging b and v ahhhhhh!!!!!
