Okay, I did have like 21 emails when I opened today, and then I think more people wrote me as I was going. It was pretty exhausting answering all of them, but I got it done. Woohoo! I want to thank once again all of the people that have written to me.
This week was also very tiring. We had some hard times but we got a lot of good stuff done. DJ should be getting baptized this week, and I am excited to spend the week inviting people to General Conference. General Conference is so awesome! I'm glad that you got to Arizona safe in all the rain. I'm happy that Lily prays on command. (Lily and I went to Arizona this weekend and we hit a pretty heavy rain storm. The water was coming in the car in the back, and I told her to say a prayer for us.) There are a lot of people that don't pray- even when missionaries tell them to, so that is very good.
And don't worry about the church realignments. I'm sure everything will be okay, for you guys at least, because you are good and like to be happy friends with people, but I'm not sure I'll be able to come home if its not into the Hillpointe Ward. Just kidding!
I don't really even know what I'm writing right now. We have played a ton today, basketball and football. We left at 6:30 and ran with un hermano and kicked some penalty kicks and then later, at 12, we went to the church and played with all the missionaries. So that was another 2 hours running around in the sun. But it was super fun. I'm just tired now, and I already wrote a ton of emails, and I'm not really sure what else to tell you.
But..... Next week I ought to be sending you a baptismal picture of DJ, if everything goes to plan, I'm not sure he meets D&C 20:37 in terms of a broken heart and a contrite spirit, but that is up to the district leader to decide. He has really awesome moments where I think he can be an excellent church member, and he has other moments that make me wonder what I've gotten into with him. One of the members told me yesterday that he would be the trial I would remember most, and he might have been right.
But, well, time is short and I'm grateful, once again, for all of the birthday wishes. and I hope that you guys have a great week and a stupendous general conference. Not sure why I said stupendous, but it's too late now. I love you all, and hope that you have a great week!
