Potrero Chico- Hidalgo- Week 12

I'm going to start with some pictures. Today we went to the Potrero Chico, which was really not super cool. It would be cooler after the mission. There are swimming pools and stuff, but everything was closed today when we went. So maybe we'll come back after the mission. But I took some of these pictures that are of the mountains and of a milipede. Milipedes aren't nearly as scary as centipedes.

Oh, that is a house that we saw on our way back from the Potrero Chico. The land here is super cheap, so people buy it and make gigantic houses, and I decided that I'm going to do that too. So, that was a picture to remind me of my goal of getting to have a super awesome vacation house in Hidalgo. It is going to be awesome like that house.

(At this point, I was able to write him back quickly while he was still on. I have been so envious of all of the moms that do this every week, and I finally got to do it, too! The following are answers to some of the things that I was able to ask him in my emails that we sent back and forth for a few minutes..

We hear a lot about the soccer. There aren't too many bugs in our apartment, the ocasional flying cockroach, but nothing too bad. We live in a small house-ish thing that is right next to the house of the lady that owns it. We live close to the other elders but not together

Tell Lily that My Little Pony is here, too, and all of the ponies have the same names, but they speak Spanish. It is wierd.

I am going to have to show you how they cook scrambled eggs here. It is amazing. They put so much stuff into it, and then they serve it with beans, and you eat it with flour tortillas, and it is amazing. I think that huevito is the most authentic Mexican food there is, because eggs are cheap and easy to make.

I hope you all have a great week, and I will talk yo you later. BYE!!!!!!
