A Parade!- Sabinas Hidalgo- Week 3

From November 17, 2014

Soooo... Today was a parade! And since it is p-day we watched it. I have pictures and videos. I am just sending a bunch of pictures first. I figure parade pictures are pretty self explanitory, but if they aren't you can ask me about them.

These are Little kids dressed up as revolutionaries.
It's so funny!

Okay, so there are some of the pictures I took, I have more, but I think those are some of the best ones. The parade was super awesome, and I think I'm going to have to come back and watch more Mexican parades. I think it would probably even be more fun as a normal person and not a missionary. But who knows. All the schools middle high and a few little universities had little groups, and then at the end there were a bunch of horses. It was really cool, and we did that instead of a zone activity where they were going to the macroplaza, because that would mean like 4 hours in a bus, and the church would have to spend like 260 pesos on all of us. Sure, that is less than 25 dollars, but since we didn't want to go and spend money uslessly anyway, we decided that we would just stay here and watch the parade. This way we still have time to wash clothes and do other things too, so everything is better this way.
Sometimes I think here is a little crazy, but I know that there are other places that are way worse. This week was pretty cool, it is getting colder here. I have a scarf and gloves. Everything is pretty good. Stake conference was weird, because we only saw half of it. The first hour wasn't broadcast very well, and we improvisationally sang some hymns, and then we did get to see the second hour. Stuff that will only happen in a Mexican branch, so it's a fun story.
I'm not sure what else to write you. I would write about our investigators, but we are going to leave them all, because they don't come to church, so that would be pointless. But hopefully next week I can tell you about all of the new people we are teaching!!!!! Okay? Well I love all of you and hope that you have an awesome week full of happiness, BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
