First off, I did get the package! Thank you for all of the cool stuff. especially the ties. Everybody has been saying they're awesome, this whole time that I've been wearing them. And thank you for all of the treats, too. They are delicious, and my comp and I have enjoyed them. I don't really need anything else. I still have all my shirts and pants and socks. I haven't lost or ruined anything yet.
And I know nothing of this apostasy that you call "6 months to sexy." (I told him about a package that I saw that another mom sent her son with 6 months left called "6 months to sexy" that was full of health food and exercise stuff.) I have heard or seen that there are many missionaries that are going home soon that do exercise more, partially with the goal of looking better, and with the added benefit that that tends to motivate them to keep working. I don't know about any of that, but I suppose each person can do their own things.
About interviews with President Swapp- we have interviews every 3 months. And last week's went well. Today we went to Paseo Santa Lucia (Santa Lucia Riverwalk) and Parque Fundidora (an urban public park in Monterrey), which are cool, and we should totally go there some day as a family. But I'm super tired now.
Life just keeps going pretty normal here. We are doing a lot of stuff and trying to find new people, but the people seem to not want to be happy. We'll see what we can do for them here, but it is not uncommon for people to run inside when they see us coming or end the conversation that we start with them as soon as possible. Maybe they all found out that we have 7 wives. Just kidding, but somebody asked us about that the other day. They actually pulled over alongside a busy road to ask us that, but they said it like "Is it true that you guys are allowed to have a lot of women?" and then looked slightly disappointed that we told him that wasn't true.
Soooooooooo........... people are interesting. They think we baptize dead people and hide the death of profets.... oh wait, that's just my sister, jajajajajajajajajajjajajajajajjajajajajajaj Just kidding. (We learned about some of the crazy ideas that Lily was thinking when we went to the Ogden Temple open house.)
Well, I don't really know what else to tell you. I'm happy. I'm having a great time here with Elder Rincon and just living the life. So I hope you guys have a great time out there in the city that never sleeps. Is that Las Vegas or New York, because everybody says that about Las Vegas but I can't remember. But anyway, have fun starting school. Do good things. I love you bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
