There is a Ton of Stuff to Do- San Bernabe Uno- Week 16

I bet it is easier there, than it is here (finding a modest Homecoming dress for Maddie). Here, there is the whole culture of La Quince Años party. So when the young women turn 15, they have big parties. I don't know too much about that, but every family has a huge picture, I mean a huge picture, usually larger than the picture they have of the Last Supper, and most of the dresses aren't very modest. The only one I can remember right now is one of a member here that makes dresses, so she was able to persuade her daughter to chose a modest style of dress and then made it. The two mandatory pictures in every house is 1-The Last Supper, usually the Catholic style one where you're not sure if its an apostle or Mary Magdalene sitting next to him and 2- the pictures of their daughters when they turned 15.
I like the ward split news. I like stuff like that. It makes me think of the early days of the church, and I suppose that in a more basic way it makes me think about the progress and growth of the church, and that's why I like it.
Umm... pues, one of the families I was telling you about is going to get sealed in the temple in like 2 weeks. They are super excited, and it is super awesome to see them like that, because they weren't super sure a little while ago. And the other families are just moving along normal. I don't know what else to tell you. There are people that we are finding and less actives that we are helping, We had a ward council meeting yesterday, the first in months, but that's not the important part, that we pushed for a lot, and while we were there, I realized that there is a ton of stuff to do. All the stuff they were talking about, the visits that need to be made, the things to be taught to different people. It was crazy, because I just wanted to know how it was all going to get done, and how we are supposed to contact 100 people every week, if there are all these other problems to be fixed too, and if there are so many other problems, why is it a struggle to get a ward council meeting together, supposedly every 2 weeks, even though it ought to be every week. It made me a little excited to go home someday and work as a member. But I'm going to send this and other stuff now. Hold on a sec.

Here are the pictures of D.J.'s baptism! He is happier in real life. So, I'm happy that you're happy with your new ward. I hope that you can keep being awesome in it. And I'm excited to get back there some day, even though I'm not entirely sure how that'll be. I had a video I wanted to send, too, but as the Mexicans would say, "God didn't want it to happen." All the Catholic people say, "Si Dios quiere," like "If God wants it to happen" and, unfortunately, they are right, from  a biblical perspective. It's in James somewhere, I don't remember exactly where, but James isn't too long, you can find it. I love all of you and hope that you are well. I will talk to you next week.
