Time Really is Flying- Real de Palmas Week 12

Hi family! It is good to talk to you again, even though we did just write this Wednesday. And I don't know what you're talking about, because the time really is flying. Oh, I guess I have some kind of fun news. We were the zone of the week this week. Because I think just about every district baptized or confirmed, so we are all super cool, and this is actually the second time this change that we have been the coolest people ever. I think it is because of Elder Chandler that is from Ceder City. He is going home in like 3 days, and he is really great. He is the missionary I want to be. So if you are ever in Ceder City, and you  meet some Chandlers tell them that their son that was a missionary in Mexico was great.
I don't know if I'm leaving or staying here in Real de Palmas yet. It could go either way, really anything could happen. But I'm excited to work in a new area or with a new companion or both. It is crazy to think that I'm a sixth of the way done with my mission, because it feels like I've just got here. And this last two weeks has been the fastest of all, so I might be home before you guys know it. Or before I know it; it might go faster for me. I figure that the time flies as a missionary, because otherwise it would be too much to handle, and it is a blessing that we get when we work hard.
We are teaching English classes. It is a lot of fun sometimes, but it is hard, because English doesn't make a ton of sense, and the only thing that I've heard people use out of class is "shut up" so I'm not sure how good a job we're doing. But if they actually want to get to America, they will have to figure out English for themselves. It is cool though, because out of out  of our companionship, I'm the only one that has really learned a language. Elder Peña learned Spanish along with English as a little kid, and Elder Dieguez is trying to learn English so that he can work in  a call center someday, but it is a work in progress. So people always ask me how I learned Spanish, and I explain to them that I was called on a mission to Mexico and  received the gift of tongues. I don't really speak Spanish that well; I mean I can say just about anything I really want to say, and somethings I can say really well, like when you have enough practice you don't conjugate the verbs in your head. They are just kind of in there as words.
I just looked up at your email about the bus, and I was wondering what that meant. (I told him some of the things that I pray for about his mission, and one was the bus. A few weeks ago, his little branch was told that the bus that they were taking each week to church would no longer be provided. I think that it is about 40 minutes from his area to the church, and the bus was being paid for by church until a few weeks ago.) I assume you mean the transport to the branch building. The area presidency says no. (That is something I think is unusual here is that everybody knows who the area presidency is, and they actually play a really important role in everything. Like I have no idea who the area president is over Nevada or what he does or anything like that. But I figure that's because where you guys live, you are probably just maintaining the status quo, but here, everything is changing all the time. Really, a majority of the members here are converts. It is rare to find people that have been a member since birth, and even they have convert parents.) But anyway, the bus- we don't get the bus, so we don't get a ton of people out to church, because they all think the bus is coming back, so they are just like, "We'll go next week in the bus." But the bus is never going to come, so we are going to have to break their little hearts. But someday we might find a building here to change into a house of prayer. Because that is a thing. We don't have a chapel, we have a house of  prayer. I think the difference is that we don't have the spire thing but I don't know. But it is fun and new to be in this little branch, and someday they will have a building and a ward and everything. That is something that people even tell us that they have dreams about. And here in Mexico everyone has vision dreams, I think. And it says in the Guia para estudiar las escrituras or GEE, which is way better than the Topical Guide or the Bible Dictionary or the Index, that dreams are a way for God to communicate with his children. So I don't know what that whole rowboat dream that you had means, but as of right now, I'm going to assume that it means  I'm getting changed. So we will have to see if I've got the gift of interpreting dreams when I write you next week.
That is about all  I have to say and probably a little more. Sorry if it got a little rambly or boring, but next week I'm sure I will have a lot more to write about with whatever changes were made and all the new things. But until then I hope you all have a good time. And I hope that you travel safely to Idaho. Be wary of all of the angry deer that may wish you harm. So, that is about all I've got to say so all of you. I love you all, and I really hope you are having a fun time doing all of your normal life things, because I'm having a pretty good time out here. So bye! Keep on being my good family. Slow down the packages, so you don't make everyone else jealous, but if you do send that cream, its okay. And also I  broke the watch I  brought, so if you see one of the other ones I have laying around the house, you could send that, too. I love you all. Bye!
Love, Elder Parkes
